Yummy! Sausage Bread
This is sooooo good!
Thought I would share.
Pick up a 1LB loaf of frozen bread at the grocery allow to thaw and rise.
Meantime brown a 1LB package of sausage and drain on paper towels.
Now roll risen bread into a 1 ½ x 1 ft. rectangle
Sprinkle with your choice of cheese I used sharp cheddar and mozzarella
then top that with the sausage. Try to go close to the ends so every bite has sausage.
Now starting at the top of the rectangle gently roll into a log crimp the ends and place on a greased cookie sheet (I used olive oil) then brush with a little olive oil and cover and let rise again about 30 minutes. Bake at 350 till roll is nice and brown. When done allow to cool then cut and enjoy.
I used olive oil for dipping but you can use whatever you like.
